Image Resizer
Resize images to exact pixels or a percentage — with one-click presets for social media, email and the web.
How to use it
Load an image and its current size appears in the width/height boxes. Type the size you need (aspect ratio stays locked by default, so nothing gets squished), or tap a preset. Press Resize and your new image downloads immediately.
Common sizes, decoded
Instagram square posts are 1080×1080, YouTube thumbnails 1280×720, and the image Facebook and X show when a link is shared is 1200×630. Email newsletters look best under 600–800 px wide. When in doubt, resize a copy and keep your original full-size file.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will resizing make my image blurry?
Shrinking keeps images sharp. Enlarging beyond the original size can look soft, because the browser has to invent pixels.
Does this change my original file?
No — you always download a new copy. Your original stays untouched.
